The system is national: the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Slovak Republic (MPRV SR) is the managing authority, while the Agricultural Paying Agency (PPA) publishes and manages the 'calls for applications for contribution'. Calls are numbered progressively within the year together with the intervention code (e.g. 7/SP/2026-73.4) and are normally 'closed' calls with a fixed final deadline. Applications are submitted through the ISPP23plus information system. PPA also publishes an online catalogue of maximum eligible prices for machinery and technology (katalog.apa.sk), binding for calls 7, 8 and 10 of 2026. In 2026 several calls on 73.x interventions are open simultaneously, including intervention 73.04, which explicitly covers productive on-farm investments including irrigation.
