This call is closed. The submission deadline was 19 June 2026. It stays in the catalogue because these windows recur: ask to be alerted when it reopens.
What it funds
ISMEA land measure for the purchase of agricultural land by young people, both to enlarge existing holdings and to start new agricultural businesses. The 2026 edition made EUR 120 million available, split into EUR 50 million for the Centre-North, EUR 50 million for the South and the Islands and EUR 20 million for qualified young start-up entrepreneurs, with 10% reserved for inner and mountain areas. The maximum aid ranges from EUR 500,000 to EUR 1.5 million per beneficiary and operates either as a subsidised mortgage loan or as direct purchase and resale by ISMEA with payment in instalments secured by a retention-of-title agreement (patto riservato di dominio). A setting-up premium (premio di insediamento) of up to EUR 100,000 is available for eligible young farmers. The window closed on 19 June 2026.
Who can apply
Young farmers under 41; young start-up entrepreneurs with experience, under 41; young start-up entrepreneurs holding an agricultural qualification, under 35.
Sectoral scope
Primary agricultural sector only. Not available to non-agricultural agri-industrial businesses.
Notes and caveats
Verified through the information sheet of the Camera di Commercio di Modena (a public body), opened with WebFetch. The ismea.it website was NOT accessible via WebFetch (robots.txt could not be retrieved) nor via curl (proxy 403), so the primary ISMEA source was not opened directly. 256 applications are reported to have been received for the 2026 edition. Historically the measure is re-issued annually: monitor ismea.it for the 2027 edition.
