Italy has a national CAP Strategic Plan, but investment support is programmed and called by the Regions and Autonomous Provinces through their regional Rural Development Complements (CSR). Each territory sets its own calendar, aid rates and thresholds, and the application windows are not aligned. Alongside the CSR channel there are sectoral interventions (wine, apiculture, fruit and vegetables), regional State aid schemes and national measures run by MASAF, MIMIT, ISMEA and GSE.
