Nuova Sabatini (and Nuova Sabatini Capitalizzazione)

What it funds

Facilitates access to credit for SMEs for investments in machinery, plant, equipment, hardware, software and digital technologies. The undertaking obtains a bank loan or leasing arrangement of between EUR 20,000 and EUR 4 million, with a maximum term of 5 years, and MIMIT pays a contribution calculated on a conventional interest rate: 2.75% for ordinary investments, 3.575% for 4.0 and green investments, 5% (micro and small) or 3.575% (medium-sized) for capitalisation programmes. The application window is operational and applications are submitted online through participating banks and financial intermediaries.

Who can apply

Micro, small and medium-sized enterprises registered in the business register, not in liquidation or insolvency proceedings, not in difficulty, with a registered office or local unit in Italy.

Sectoral scope

All productive sectors are eligible, expressly including agriculture and fisheries (only section L of ATECO 2025 - financial and insurance activities - is excluded). Agricultural and agro-industrial undertakings are therefore eligible.

Notes and caveats

Verified on mimit.gov.it. The sheet indicates available resources of approximately EUR 1.236 billion on the ordinary line, EUR 77.2 million on the Capitalizzazione line and a refinancing of EUR 650 million for the two-year period 2026-2027: figures reported by the institutional page but not traced to a single budget chapter, which is why dotazione_eur is left null. The Capitalizzazione line has been operational since 01/10/2024. Always check the remaining capacity before submitting an application.
