According to the 2026 schedule approved by the ministry, the 'Jaunųjų ūkininkų įsikūrimas' measure has three windows in 2026: 2 January to 29 May for subsidised loans only, 1 to 30 June for grants and loans, and 1 July to 30 December 2026 again for subsidised loans only. At the verification date the loan-only window for young farmers' setting-up is therefore open and runs to 30 December 2026. In the mixed June 2026 round the maximum loan was EUR 100,000 and the maximum grant EUR 60,000.
Young farmers aged between 18 and 40 at the application date, setting up for the first time, with professional competence shown by an agricultural qualification, training or at least one year of practical experience; for legal entities the age requirement applies to all decision-makers.
The 'open' status is inferred from the 2026 schedule published by NMA on 30 October 2025, not from a specific opening announcement: verify on nma.lrv.lt before acting. The budget reserved for this specific window was not found.
