Intervention II.G.1 - Investments in agricultural holdings
Original title (BG): Интервенция II.Г.1 "Инвестиции в земеделските стопанства"
This call is closed. The submission deadline was 20 February 2026. It stays in the catalogue because these windows recur: ask to be alerted when it reopens.
What it funds
This is the main Bulgarian CAP Strategic Plan intervention for on-farm investment. It covers modernisation and mechanisation, construction and renovation of agricultural production buildings, purchase of machinery, equipment and specialised agricultural vehicles, development of irrigation infrastructure, renewable energy generation and storage installations, and beekeeping equipment. The first window ran from 20 November 2025 to 20 February 2026, with a budget of BGN 378,480,193.25 (EUR 193,513,850), of which BGN 283,860,144.93 (EUR 145,135,387.50) was reserved for applications involving sensitive sectors. Selection favours organic farming, young farmers, producer groups, holdings in areas with natural constraints, and applicants demonstrating financial stability.
Who can apply
Agricultural holdings (registered farmers) and agricultural producer groups and organisations.
Notes and caveats
CLOSED. The deadline stated in the Ministry's opening press release is 20 February 2026; DFZ subsequently announced an extension to 11 March 2026, which could not be confirmed by opening the original page (dfz.bg rejects automated requests). The ministry announced a new on-farm investment window of around EUR 278 million for November 2026: this is the key window for an irrigation equipment supplier to track, but the date is not confirmed by a published act. In 2026 Bulgaria publishes amounts in both BGN and EUR.
