Castilla y León runs two parallel EAFRD co-financed lines: aid for productive investment with environmental objectives (climate change mitigation and adaptation, renewable energy, animal welfare) and aid for farm modernisation and improvement (modernisation, digitalisation, restructuring). In both, the base aid rate is 40%, with increases of up to 15 points for young farmers. Maximum investment volume is EUR 200,000 per holding on the environmental line and EUR 100,000 per annual work unit with a EUR 200,000 ceiling per holding on the modernisation line. As at the verification date the most recent published call was the one governed by the Orden of 30 June 2025 (BOCYL of 3 July 2025), with an Instrucción of 3 July 2025 subsequently amended: no 2026 call appears to have been published.
Holders of farms registered in REACYL (the Castilla y León farm register), able to demonstrate economic viability, active farmer status and compliance with tax and social security obligations.
No 2026 call appeared on the official page as at 27 August 2026: the most recent is the one under the Orden of 30 June 2025. The 2025 window dates are not stated on the page. Historically the regional government publishes the order in late June or early July, so a 2026 call may be issued or may already have been issued in summer 2026 without the page being updated: check the BOCYL directly. The parallel young farmer entry line provides a base premium of EUR 30,000 rising to EUR 100,000, paid 60% on first payment and 40% on completion within 5 years, with applications due within 24 months of the set-up date.
