Climate Measures Programme 2026-2029

Original title (DA): Klimatiltagsprogrammet 2026-2029

What it funds

Multi-year programme funding the documentation of climate effects and the testing of measures for agriculture: biochar, nitrification inhibitors, manure-handling technologies. The overall budget is about DKK 235 million spread over six climate measures, with DKK 10-85 million per measure and maximum project support of DKK 5-20 million. Support covers 100% of eligible project costs (salaries, equipment, external assistance, plus a 44% overhead contribution). Applications are handled on a rolling basis with recurring deadlines across the 2026-2029 period. It is a research programme: eligible beneficiaries are universities and recognised research institutions carrying out non-economic activity; private companies may take part as partners but do not receive funding.

Who can apply

Universities and other recognised knowledge and research institutions carrying out research as non-economic activity. Private companies may participate as partners without receiving funding.

Notes and caveats

NOT accessible to a farming business: beneficiaries are research bodies only. Relevant to Agrostar only as a technology-partnership channel with a Danish institute. The known deadlines are administrative (project changes by 31 March each year 2026-2030; interim payment claims from 1 May 2026 to 31 May each year; final claims by 31 March each year 2027-2030); there is no single submission deadline, applications are rolling. Euro conversion at an indicative rate of 7.46 DKK/EUR.
