This is Denmark's main measure supporting technology investment on farms and horticultural holdings. It funds 40% of the purchase, delivery and installation of technologies listed on a standard-cost 'teknologiliste' that is refreshed before each round. The 2026 round puts DKK 180 million on the table, entirely EAFRD-funded, split across nine areas: ammonia reduction from slurry tanks (DKK 45m), pesticide reduction in crop production (DKK 35m, the area that includes precision sprayers), ammonia reduction from cattle housing (DKK 28m), energy reduction in greenhouses (DKK 15m), ammonia reduction from pig housing (DKK 12m), nutrient reduction in greenhouses (DKK 5m), energy reduction in poultry facilities (DKK 10m), energy reduction in crop production (DKK 25m) and conversion away from cage egg production (DKK 5m). It is not first-come-first-served: the moment of submission within the window does not affect the assessment, which is made by ranking, with a climate factor among the criteria.

HISTORY OF POSTPONEMENTS, WORTH READING: the round was originally set for 30 October 2025 - 27 January 2026; in October 2025 SGAV announced an open-ended postponement without giving reasons ('Vi informerer, så snart vi ved mere'). The new 1 October - 1 December 2026 window and the nine-area split come from the draft bekendtgørelse put out for consultation on 29 June 2026 (consultation closed 7 August 2026): these are therefore draft dates, not yet confirmed by an opening notice published by SGAV. Re-check on sgav.dk in the weeks before 1 October. Investments may not be bought, ordered or delivered before the application is submitted. Euro conversion at an indicative rate of 7.46 DKK/EUR. Planned completion deadline: 1 December 2028.
