What it funds
Continuously open measure launched on 28 August 2024, with a budget set at EUR 27,000,000 by ministerial decree of 14 July 2026 (down from EUR 29,000,000). It funds purchases of tangible and intangible assets and the construction of permanent business premises in rural areas, prioritising new technologies, IT solutions and resource-efficiency improvements. Aid covers 15% to 65% of eligible costs with a ceiling of EUR 200,000 per applicant over the whole 2023-2027 period. NOTE: PRIA suspended the intake of applications on 12 June 2026 because approved and pending applications exceeded the budget; new applications will only be accepted if and when PRIA reopens the window and announces it on its website.
Who can apply
Entrepreneurs and companies operating continuously for at least two years in rural areas or small towns, with annual turnover of at least EUR 40,000 in each of the two preceding years and at least one full-time employee year-round.
Notes and caveats
Marked 'da_verificare' because the measure is not formally closed but application intake has been suspended since 12.06.2026 as the budget is exhausted. Worth monitoring for a possible reopening.
