Eighth call of the Mediterranean transnational cooperation programme, dedicated to thematic pilot projects under the priorities 'A Smarter Mediterranean' and 'A Greener Mediterranean'. The overarching theme is advancing territorial resilience, structured in three missions: green living areas, innovative sustainable economy, natural heritage. Water and agricultural themes are not cited explicitly but fall within the programme's green missions. Indicative budget EUR 20 million for around 10 projects. Phase 1 (written application) from 1 October to 2 November 2026; phase 2 with oral presentation between March and April 2027.
Transnational partnerships of public bodies, development agencies, universities and research centres, bodies governed by public law, associations and in some cases private companies, established in the Mediterranean cooperation area.

Le imprese italiane del Sud e delle isole, oltre a Liguria, Toscana, Emilia-Romagna, Lazio, Umbria, Marche, Abruzzo e Molise, rientrano nell'area ammissibile. Il numero minimo di partner e di paesi non è indicato nella pagina di call e sarà fissato dai Termini di riferimento, la cui approvazione è prevista per settembre 2026.
Dates, indicative budget and priorities verified on the programme website on 27 August 2026. The Terms of Reference with eligibility criteria and partnership requirements had not yet been approved at the verification date (approval expected September 2026). The 80% ERDF co-financing rate is the programme's general rate and should be confirmed in the Terms of Reference. Call 7 runs in parallel (1-30 September 2026, EUR 8 million) but is dedicated to sustainable tourism and therefore not relevant to agriculture.
