Monitoring soil health in practice: equipping stakeholders to sample, analyse, and interpret soil health indicators
What it funds
A coordination and support action aiming to equip farmers, advisors and laboratories with practical tools to sample soil, analyse soil health indicators and interpret results in a comparable way across Europe. It does not fund basic research but the production of protocols, training materials and capacity building activities. It is the operational complement to the future European soil monitoring framework. Budget EUR 5 million for a single expected grant. Opened 4 February 2026, deadline 23 September 2026 at 17:00.

Consortia of research organisations, analytical laboratories, farm advisory networks, farmers' associations, public bodies and training providers.
