TAMS 3 - Farm Safety Capital Investment Scheme (Tranche 13)
What it funds
TAMS 3 sub-scheme dedicated to investments improving on-farm safety (guards, fencing, animal handling systems, cut-off devices, upgrading of hazardous installations). The grant rate is 60% within an investment ceiling of EUR 90,000 per holding, raised to EUR 160,000 for partnerships with two or more eligible partners. Minimum eligible investment is EUR 2,000 per application. Access requirement: at least 5 hectares declared under BPS/BISS or 20 production units from farming. The gov.ie page was last updated on 9 March 2026. In recent tranches DAFM approved all eligible applications under this scheme without applying ranking and selection.
Who can apply
Farmers with a holding in Ireland, at least 5 hectares declared under BPS/BISS or 20 production units from farming.
