Investments in agricultural holdings

Original title (LT): Investicijos į žemės ūkio valdas

The window is not open yet. The call is already published: applications are accepted from 1 October 2026. This is the time to prepare the paperwork.

What it funds

Window OPENING from 1 October to 30 November 2026, with a budget of EUR 67.1 million: it is the single most important call across the three Baltic states for on-farm investment. It funds new agricultural machinery and equipment, technological installations, new vehicles for transporting farm products, farm buildings, infrastructure improvements, IRRIGATION SYSTEMS and biosecurity measures. The budget is allocated by sector: EUR 30.8m dairy, EUR 10.4m beef and other livestock, EUR 9.8m pigs and poultry, EUR 16.1m horticulture and plant sectors, EUR 3.6m other crop sectors. The ceiling is EUR 1 million per project, raised to EUR 2 million for recognised agricultural cooperatives; the holding's economic size must exceed EUR 30,001 of standard output.

Who can apply

Individual farmers with a holding registered in their own name, legal entities engaged in agriculture and recognised agricultural cooperatives, with a holding economic size above EUR 30,001 of standard output.

Notes and caveats

In the same period (1 October - 30 November 2026) the ministry announced a second, simplified-procedure window reserved for 'other crop sectors', with a reduced ceiling of EUR 80,000 per project. The call explicitly covers irrigation systems: it is the priority window for Agrostar in Lithuania. The NMA opening announcement should be checked on nma.lrv.lt close to 1 October.
