Original title (EN): Application Period for Land Farmers and Livestock Breeders under CAP SP 2023–2027
Open window for the registration of new agricultural land, land transfers, changes of use and aid applications relating to the area-based schemes of Malta's CAP Strategic Plan, including eco-schemes and agri-environment-climate commitments (AECCs), of which only AECC 7a and 7b are open to new applications. It does not finance investments, but it is the mandatory step to be recorded in IACS as an active farmer and therefore to be able to access investment interventions later. Applications are received from 6 July to 18 September 2026 at the Ta' Qali and Victoria (Gozo) offices, Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 11:30.
Maltese land farmers and livestock breeders. Applications are submitted in person with an identity document, field plans, a notarial power of attorney where filed on behalf of third parties (with the representative's ID) and a will in the case of inheritance transfers.
Included because it is the only Maltese CAP window actually open as at 27 August 2026 and it is the administrative precondition for accessing investment interventions (IACS registration). Submission is on paper and in person, not online.
