Non-productive investments on farms — Overijssel and Utrecht 2026 windows
Original title (NL): Niet-productieve investeringen op landbouwbedrijven — openstellingen Overijssel en Utrecht 2026
The window is not open yet. The call is already published: applications are accepted from 9 September 2026. This is the time to prepare the paperwork.
What it funds
Dutch CAP measure for investments that generate no direct economic return but serve water, climate and biodiversity objectives: for example species-rich field margins ('kruidenrijke akkerranden') and watercourse restructuring works. Three windows are scheduled in autumn 2026: Overijssel general strand from 9 September to 9 November 2026 with a budget of EUR 1,000,000 and a minimum grant of EUR 25,000 with no ceiling; Overijssel strand for farming collectives over the same period with a budget of EUR 2,400,000 and a minimum grant of EUR 165,000; Utrecht from 12 October to 10 December 2026 with a budget of EUR 4,200,000 and grants from EUR 10,000 to EUR 500,000. The rate is 70% for water system investments and 100% for other investments.
Who can apply
Farmers, farming collectives ('agrarische collectieven'), landscape management organisations and farmers' associations. The EUR 2,400,000 Overijssel strand is reserved for farming collectives.
Notes and caveats
Aggregated record covering three distinct provincial windows: the opening date given is the earliest (Overijssel, 09/09/2026) and the deadline the latest (Utrecht, 10/12/2026). WARNING: the three windows have different rules, thresholds and budgets and must be treated as separate calls. The EUR 7,600,000 envelope is the sum of the three budgets (1,000,000 + 2,400,000 + 4,200,000). According to RVO no further windows are announced after December 2026. As these are NON-productive investments, the opportunity for an irrigation systems supplier is limited to the 'water systems' component funded at 70%.
