Improving the sustainability of existing irrigation schemes - next call foreseen in the 2026 indicative plan
Original title (PT): Melhoria da sustentabilidade dos regadios existentes - próximo concurso previsto no Plano Indicativo de Abertura de Candidaturas 2026 (intervenção D.3.2)
The window is not open yet. The call is already published. This is the time to prepare the paperwork.
What it funds
The 2026 Indicative Plan for the Opening of Applications, updated on 13 August 2026, lists intervention D.3.2 among those expected to open in the third and fourth quarters of 2026, alongside further forestry interventions and the insurance intervention (C.4.1.1). The Managing Authority announced on 8 July 2026 that the second half of 2026 will mobilise around EUR 177 million through the planned calls, focusing on investment, competitiveness, sustainability and resilience in the agricultural and forestry sectors. The plan gives no specific dates or per-intervention budgets.
Who can apply
Presumably the same as in previous calls under intervention D.3.2; not yet defined by a notice of opening.
Notes and caveats
Entry based on the indicative plan alone: no Notice of Opening had been published as at 27 August 2026, so dates, budget and conditions are unknown. The EUR 177 million figure refers to all second-half 2026 calls taken together, not to intervention D.3.2 alone. The indicative plan is by its nature non-binding.
