VLIF strand dedicated to investments without direct productive return, aimed at environmental and climate objectives. It covers biodiversity and habitat protection, erosion reduction, soil and water quality, controlled drainage and water storage systems, landscape features, landscape integration of farm buildings and wolf protection. The rate is 50%, 75% or 100% depending on how far the investment has secondary productive characteristics. The windows are the same four VLIF quarterly windows. After selection, implementation must be confirmed within 5.5 months and the payment claim filed within 2.5 years of the block's closure, with a field inspection and administrative approval.
