Projects must demonstrate how crop and genetic diversification improves production resilience without penalising profitability, quantifying agronomic and economic results at farm level. The multi-actor approach is required, with direct involvement of farmers and land managers, as is cooperation with the Commission's Knowledge Centre for Biodiversity.
