What it funds
Annual DAFM scheme for capital investment in specialised plant and equipment aimed at innovation and diversification in primary horticultural production. The maximum grant rate is 50%, rising to 60% for qualifying young farmers and licensed organic growers. Minimum eligible investment is EUR 10,000 excluding VAT. The call was published on 12 November 2025 and closed at midnight on Tuesday 3 February 2026. Applications are submitted by e-mail to Horticultureinnovation@agriculture.gov.ie. It serves as a marker of the annual rhythm: the 2027 edition can reasonably be expected to open around November 2026.
