TAMS 3 - Organic Capital Investment Scheme (Tranche 13)
What it funds
TAMS 3 sub-scheme supporting the upgrading of buildings and equipment on organic holdings. The grant rate is 40% for licensed organic operators and rises to 60% for farmers participating in the Organic Farming Scheme; nutrient storage investments are also at 60%. The ceiling is EUR 90,000 per holding (EUR 160,000 for registered farm partnerships), with a separate ceiling of the same size for nutrient storage. Minimum eligible investment is EUR 2,000 per application and multiple applications per tranche are allowed. Licensed organic operators and farmers participating in the Organic Farming Scheme with a holding in Ireland meeting the general TAMS 3 requirements.
Notes and caveats
The gov.ie page (last updated 22 June 2026) states the scheme is open but does not publish the closing date of the current tranche: 4 September 2026 comes from the 2026 tranche calendar reported by the specialist press.
